Apprenticeships at SA Water
SA Water offers apprenticeships in the following trades:
- Mechanical Engineering (Fitter and Turner)
- Fabrication Engineering (Welder/Boilermaker)
These apprenticeship opportunities may be located in outer metropolitan and regional areas throughout South Australia.
How do apprenticeships work?
Our apprenticeships combine 'on-the-job' practical work with structured 'off-job' training, resulting in a nationally recognised trade qualification. An SA Water apprenticeship includes:
- Paid employment for the term of employment.
A four year contract of training approved by the Training and Skills Commission.
A training program delivered by a registered training organisation (e.g. TAFE), with fees paid by SA Water.
Who can apply for apprenticeships?
Anyone can apply for an apprenticeship with SA Water. A current driver's licence is all that's required.
When can I apply?
Applications for our 2014 Apprenticeship intake have now closed.
