At SA Water we view our graduates as having the potential to grow into future leaders of our organisation and the water industry. We provide our graduates with the opportunity to work across the business to enable them to gain a broad knowledge of our operations, and assist them with planning their career within SA Water.
What we offer you
SA Water has a high profile, structured yet flexible two year graduate program. The graduate program is designed to fast track graduates’ knowledge and skills in order to prepare them for an ongoing role in the business. Graduates have the opportunity to undertake four six-month project assignments. Our program provides graduates with the opportunity to not only work in their disciplinary background but to also work in different business units across SA Water.
Features of our program
Continuous training and development Graduates will undertake extensive training in a range of areas including: - water quality awareness - presentation skills - project management - negotiating and influencing
Support engineers to achieve their CPEng (Professional Development Program), and our business graduates to gain CPA chartered status

Opportunity to learn From some of the leaders in the water industry. Networking events are held for graduates to get together and catch up, and to meet employees from our other programs, and across the business.
A dedicated mentor To assist and guide you throughout the program.
Those interested in the program will need to be open to new and different experiences, being involved in cross-agency projects and working in a variety of areas across the business. Graduates will also have the opportunity to take on diverse project work in a regional location if desired, and all required relocation is supported by the business.
