Connection costs

The owners of all residential zoned properties that can be served by an extension of water mains are required to pay a Standard Capital Contribution (SCC) for each holding served.  The connection fee is subject to change without notice.

 

Owners of non-urban properties are not required to pay a Standard Capital Contribution (SCC) or water rates unless the property is connected.

SA Water financial assistance

In response to issues raised by the community, government has determined that eligible pensioners can defer payment of the Standard Capital Contribution until ownership of the property changes hands. SA Water will work with other customers who are experiencing genuine difficulty and arrange mutually acceptable terms of payment.
