The Waterworks (Rates) Amendment Bill was passed by Parliament in June 2009. This means SA Water customers are now billed for water use every quarter.
In the past, our customers received four bills per year but only two contained water use charges. The change to quarterly water use billing means water uses charges will be more evenly spread across the year and allows South Australians to better monitor and manage their water consumption.
You still receive your account from us at the same time and we continue to read your meter every quarter.
