SA Water’s Outer Metro region covers the Fleurieu, Adelaide Hills and Barossa regions and part of the Murrayland districts.

 

Many of the major reservoirs, pumping stations and pipelines that supply South Australia with water from the River Murray are located here.

 

This region also boasts the beautiful Barossa area - popular with many tourists due to its premium wine producing reputation. SA Water employs approximately 180 people across the area - including Victor Harbor, Kangaroo Island, Murray Bridge and Mannum.

 

SA Water's depots are located at Balaklava, Gawler, Kingscote, Mannum, Millbrook, Murray Bridge, Mt Bold, Myponga, Nurioopta, Port Elliot, South Para and Woodside.
