The SA Water library provides information to help our staff do their jobs. Some parts of our collection may also be of interest to the public, including photos and artefacts. Please note public borrowing from the library is not available, but you can ask your local public library to borrow items on your behalf (inter library loans). Teachers can also borrow resources from the SA Water Library's School Collection.
These history photobooks have been developed with a focus on specific regions of South Australia. They are free to download as apple ibooks and available to order in print direct from the printer.
The library holds artefacts (physical objects) used in water construction around the state. Contact the library for more information.
We have a collection of primary and secondary student resources you can borrow to help teach water units.

SA Water customers in Goolwa and surrounding areas, including Goolwa Beach, Goolwa South, Goolwa North and Hindmarsh Island may currently be experiencing discoloured or milky water coming out of their taps.
This water remains safe to drink.
During recent planned maintenance in the area, some existing sediment in the local water supply network has been stirred up, resulting in the discoloured water.
We are working hard to resolve the issue, and we are flushing out the discoloured water. Given the size of the water network in the area, this may take some time. At this stage, we are hoping water supply will return to normal by Friday afternoon.
We will continue to monitor the situation, and provide updates on our website and Facebook page.
