Middle River Reservoir

The construction of the Middle River Reservoir, which is a dam on Kangaroo Island’s Middle River, was completed in 1968. It supported population growth on the island following the Second World War, in part due to 170 families that moved to Kangaroo Island through the Soldier Settlement Scheme.
