Mount Bold Reservoir Reserve

Mount Bold Reservoir Reserve will be closed to visitors on Wednesday 30 September, while we use large machinery along the dam wall as part of planned maintenance. Following the safe completion of this work, the reservoir reserve will reopen at 9am on Thursday 1 October.

Mount Bold, the largest reservoir in South Australia, is about 45 minutes drive south of Adelaide and surrounded by more than 5,500 hectares of land. While the reservoir is not directly connected to the water network, its water is released as required to maintain an adequate level at the Clarendon Weir from where water is diverted to Happy Valley.
